My wife and I booked a holiday together with friends, for a trip to Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam. We had not come across citrus travel before, as we prefer to book and make our own arrangements. However as we had not travelled to Cambodia before we erred on the side of caution and thought we would prefer to use a travel company.
Our agent at Citrus travel was Vincent. What can I say, but he was fantastic as were Citrus travel. The holiday they arranged was just brilliant, from start to finish.
Vincent and Citrus were professional from start to finish. Everything they promised they delivered. This holiday was amazing value for what it included. We had a packed itinerary and a guide who accompanied the 6 of us whilst on our trips. The guides were both extremely personable but informative. Kosal accompanied us to Angkor Wat whilst in Cambodia. As he used to live near to it he knew how together us there and avoid the crowds. It was that type of service.
One of our other guides was Hung, who accompanied us to the Chiu Chiu tunnels. he had lived in these for 11 years and was an ex Viet Cong fighter. His tales of their existence during this period was enthralling. What a fascinating guy he was was but also inspirational.
Our last visit was to Hanoi accompanied by our guide Quin. he took us on a walking tour of old Hanoi. However he first asked what sort of things appealed to us, so as to tailor the tour to our needs.
All in all a fantastic holiday, and superb value . Don't hesitate to use this company!
